At the asian buffet we used some of the dialogue that we learned in class. We also tried different varieties of food (octopus, cow stomach, sushi). It was a very interersting experience.

July 17, 2009 @ 12:20 pmYes, we were able to use the Chinese we learned to order. We all thought that the experience was fun, and tasty. Eric thought that it was cool that we got to use chinese in a real situation. He tried chicken feet. Kyle tried the salty dumplings. Josh tried the chicken feet and prawns on a skewer.

July 17, 2009 @ 12:28 pmThe buffet had a lot of delicious food, both Chinese and American. Ordering in Chinese wasn’t to hard, except when it was. We tried food such as squid, octupus, baked butterfish, pig foot, cow stomach, sea cucumber, bamboo, and baby fish. It was a great experience to try all of those traditional Chinese foods.
